[AIO] How To Edit Your Hosts File?

We will explain how to edit your Hosts File.

  1. For Windows 7

    • Click on the Windows icon

      Search for Notepad, right-click on Notepad in the search results list and choose to Run as administrator

    • Click on Organize on the top right of the page.

    • Go to Folder and search options

    • Then to view

    • Finally uncheck hide extensions for known file types box

      Now you will see the host file name in the following format hosts.txt, you need to edit the file's name by removing .txt from it.

  2. For Windows 8.1 and 10

    • Right-click on the Windows icon then click on Command Prompt (Admin)

    • Click Yes

    • And then insert the following sentence: notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and press Enter

    • Go to File -> Open...

    • Now insert the following path: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and click Open

    • Once notepad is open, you can edit the file

    • Insert the following at the end of the file:

      # Another Nike BOT captcha server
      127.0.0.1 anb.adidas.com

      # Another Nike BOT captcha server
      127.0.0.1 anb.sneakersnstuff.com

      # Another Nike BOT captcha server
      127.0.0.1 anb.ruvilla.com

    • Now that you have edited your Hosts file, make sure to save it.

    • Click on file at the top right of the page

    • And check File name extension box

      Now you will see the host file name in the following format hosts.txt, you need to edit the file's name by removing .txt from it.
